Hey There! My Name is Vamsi Avinash Gunji. I'm commonly known as Avi to my friends. Thank you for stopping by my profile. đ I am currently employed as a DevOps Engineer at Bank of America.
How did I get into DevOps? đ¤
My interest in DevOps sparked when I realized that software development involves more than coding. đĨ This curiosity led me to delve into application deployment and DevOps Cloud concepts. đģ Through my journey, I have gained extensive AWS experience and become skilled in its modules. đ¤ Moreover, I have become a Kubernetes Administrator with a deep understanding of containerization. đ Currently, I am focusing on Infrastructure as Code flows, which is the prevailing market trend. đĄ
Wanna know my educational background and the beginning of my career? đ¤đđŧ
I studied in India up until the 12th grade đĢ, where I trained for the IIT. After that, I moved to the USA to pursue a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics đ¤. My love for math helped me understand the significance of programming languages in the tech industry đģ. I am an avid Data Science enthusiast and enjoy utilizing Programming and Analytics tools to explore my passions đĒ.
What are my current and future goals? đ¤đ
đ Currently, my role primarily revolves around automating infrastructure deployment đ, expertly managing Kubernetes clusters đ, and pioneering the development of CI/CD pipelines đ§. đ ī¸ In addition to my 5 AWS certifications đŠī¸ and 3 Kubernetes certifications đŗ, I've recently been distinguished as a Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert đ. This accolade has enhanced my proficiency in Azure services, a realm I've significantly expanded upon during my tenure at CDW. As a proud Terraform Associate, my foundation in DevOps methodologies, programming đĨī¸, and the fine craft of containerization with Docker đŗ remains unshakeable. đ My enthusiasm for learning knows no bounds đ, and I'm convinced that my multifaceted skills and extensive experience would be a shining beacon to any avant-garde organization đ. đĒ

I work as a DevOps Engineer at Bank of America. In my role, I focus on DevOps tasks, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Rundeck for automation based on the requirements. I am also pursuing certifications related to what I've learned and continue to learn. I have strong expertise in DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, OpenShift, Docker, Programming, Infrastructure, and CI/CD Pipelines.
I am now 5x AWS Certified, 3x Kubernetes Certified, a Terraform Associate, and an Azure DevOps Expert. My dedication to learning and continuous improvement makes me a solid asset to any organization.
